If you've had enough of Lord of the Rings and feel that Sauron should get a chance to win his battle for mastery of Evil over all things good give this game a chance. All versions are great fun and the minions are cute and hilarious while trying to help the "Master".
As a mom of a teen, I goota say that this game is fun to watch - and the comments from the minnions are too cute. His only problem is that I never give him enough time to play it.
The entire intent of the game is causing evil and at one point you can sacrifice your minions "demons" on alters to gain more evil. That was a big mistake. Before I bought this game I asked the salesman if it was demonic and he said no, so I went ahead and bought it. This game is very satanic and I will be returning it. As Catholic Christians, my wife and I try to limit negative influences on our kids and this game is a negative influence. I wouldn't recomend you play it or let your kids play it. If you are Christian and you don't want Pagan influences in your home do not buy this game becuase you will regret it. Just giving you a heads up so you don't make the same mistake I made.
If you are good at strategy games you will re conquer your kingdom in no time but you need to have patience. They are also the only unit that can get rid of plants that give off noxious fumes that kill any other minion.- Blue minions can cross water and are the only minions that can any other unit would drown they are very magical and can raise dead minions if you get them there in time. In the beginning of your game you go in search of your different types of minions because they have been scattered over the world. They killed your predecessor so now you need to take over your kingdom once again. Overlord Raising Hell is a good game if you like to command units to do your bidding. old son and the above is his review. They are almost unnoticeable if only they could take a bath so you may not want them to guard against animals. There are 4 kinds of minions that you can command.- Brown minions are your main fighters and they can take the most damage so you would want to have more of them than any other unit.- Green minions are smelly creatures but they are very sneaky while guarding.
They are good at killing unarmed units because they can light them on fire. The game gets fun when your minions clash with large groups of enemies. In this game you need to reclaim your dark kingdom because your castle has been destroyed by some meddlesome heroes. They are horrible fighters but if you fight spirits like wisps or ghosts they are the only unit that can combat them.- Red minions are fiery creatures that can throw fire balls at enemies. The game sometimes gets challenging because you will be travelling through large lands and sometimes it seems like a maze. Sometimes your minion horde is totally destroyed then you will find yourself fighting for your life so you should always have your best weapon handy. Red minions are the only unit that can extinguish flames that would kill any other unit.If you use your minions and weapons right you will find yourself becoming a very powerful overlord.-- Alan was here_______________________________ Note: Alan is my 12 yr. This game seems to defy the laws of one genre. I can garauntee that this will be one of few games i play multiple times through to tensure i follw the path of both corrupted and uncorrupted and ecperience all of the spells.The main thing that appeals to rpg fans is the interchangable weapons and armour types while rts (real time strategy) fans will most likely enjoy the ability to summon and "sweep" the minions to do your bidding from a aafe distance.Either way, a great edition to the rpg world so enjoy.this game in last year may be less than i don't know excacly the date , anyway this game ((( overlord raising hell ))) real great game for type fantasy action advntures , this game making challenging between players all you why this. it combines aspects of both rpg with the character of the overlord and rts with the commanding of units such as the browns.This game has been severly underapreciated but i guess that was expected with the fact that it is an expansion edition. I cant wait to get further into this game as the story is engaging and makes you want to play on. lets beginning every body i will start with the score specily eral score on this game (( overlord raising hell )) , first thing storyline not bad in all sides but not perfect in the same time and thats score 8.8 , and second thing the effect on this game realy lovely effects specily for this game and thats real score for this is 9.1 , and third thing is speed for this game is good. no but very good this speed for this game is make great game fantasy action adventure yet and real score for this is 9.7 , and last thing for this game is great lovely graphics is soft for see its a lovely game for me and real score for this game is 10.0 last word for me this game not bad in all sides but in other side great lovely game yet
